Dr. Ashis Pathak

Prof. Ashis Pathak is MS, MCh (Neurosurgery) and was formerly at PGIMER Chandigarh. He has over 30 years of experience, including 27 years as faculty at PGIMER and 5 years as Lead Consultant Neurosurgeon at Hull East Yorkshire Trust, UK. He is widely acclaimed in areas of Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Surgery through endoscopic procedures. Dr. Pathak also takes keen interest in neuro-oncology and has performed more than 5000 neurosurgical operations till date.

Dr. Ashis Pathak is a distinguished neurosurgeon with over four decades of exemplary experience, widely recognized for his outstanding contributions to advanced neurosurgical care, academic leadership, and professional excellence. His stature in the medical fraternity is reflected through several prestigious leadership positions at national professional bodies. He currently serves as the President of the Skull Base Surgery Society of India and the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology, and holds the position of President-Elect of the Indian Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. Further underscoring his legacy of clinical and academic distinction, Dr. Pathak has also served as the Past President of the Cerebrovascular Society of India and the Neuroendoscopy Society of India. These honors highlight his sustained commitment to innovation, education, and the advancement of neurosurgical sciences in India.
