Dr. Ashit Syngle

Dr. Ashit Syngle, a post-graduate in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh (India). He has been a topper all through his distinguished academic career scoring distinctions in many subjects and was declared the Best Graduate. He has been maintaining his distinction too as a practicing Diabetologist and Rheumatologist since 1993. He has several prestigious national international certifications to his credit. He is also an alumnus of Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. His talk shows on All India Radio and television have been very popular.He was responsible for starting the first Rheumatology Clinic at Fortis Healthcare in 2003. His passion for work and compassion for patients has lead to excellence in his field, being counted among India leading rheumatologists and has also led to international recognition. He has also been providing expert medical opinion to Canada, New Zealand Australian High Commissions on difficult cases through their DMPs for the last 19 years. He has designed and successfully carried out several path breaking interventional studies in the field of rheumatology has contributed tremendously to health education in rheumatology. He is a great teacher. 10 postgraduate thesis from Faculty of Medicine, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Science, Punjabi University have been completed and submitted under his expert supervision and guidance. Two students from the same department are presently undergoing PhD dissertation on rheumatology topics under his supervision. His Clinical Interests/Area of Expertise are Rheumatic Diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Gout, SLE (Lupus), Osteoporosis etc. Diabetes, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Cardio-Rheuma, Dyslipidaemias and Infectious Diseases.
