Dr. Madhur Malik

Dr. Madhur Malik is a cardiac anesthesiologist with over 16 years of experience in cardiac anesthesia, perioperative critical care, and structural heart interventions. He has worked across cardiac centres in India, Germany, Sri Lanka, and Oman, managing complex surgical and interventional procedures. At Salalah Heart Centre, Sultan Qaboos Hospital, Oman, he led perioperative anesthesia services and the Structural Heart Disease Program, including TAVI and Watchman procedures under conscious sedation with live TEE guidance. He has introduced ERACS protocols with ultrasound-guided fascial plane blocks to support faster recovery. He completed an EACTA-certified Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Herzzentrum Leipzig, Germany, with experience in LVAD, ECMO, heart transplantation, TAVI, MitraClip, and minimally invasive procedures. He holds a DM in Cardiac Anesthesiology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and has published in national and international medical journals.
