Dr. Pulak Vatsya

Dr. Pulak Vatsya is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in robotic and minimally invasive joint replacement, sports orthopaedics, and arthroscopy, with extensive experience in complex trauma and advanced reconstructive procedures. He has joined Fortis Escorts Hospital, Okhla, as Consultant– Orthopaedics, and also leads StepUp Joints, a specialized centre for orthopaedic and rehabilitation care. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. Vatsya completed his MS in Orthopaedics from PGIMER, Chandigarh, and holds DNB and MNAMS in Orthopaedic Surgery. He has trained internationally in Japan and participated in multiple robotic and arthroscopic workshops across India and Southeast Asia, specializing in minimally invasive joint replacement, shoulder arthroscopy, multi-ligament knee injuries, and joint preservation techniques. Dr. Vatsya has performed advanced procedures including simultaneous bilateral DAA total hip replacement, robotic unicompartmental knee replacement, and ACL/PCL reconstruction techniques, having treated over 15,000 patients and performed more than 3,000 surgeries. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and serves as faculty at national and international orthopaedic conferences. He combines advanced surgical expertise with holistic rehabilitation, guiding patients to regain mobility, restore function, and lead pain-free, active lives.
