She completed her MBBS from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Odisha, followed by MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and is further trained with an MCh in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram .
