Dr. Anish Nandkumar Tawde

Dr. Anish Tawde is a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon and Joint Replacement specialist with extensive training in arthroplasty and advanced robotic joint replacement surgery. With over 10 years of experience in orthopedics, Dr. Anish brings a comprehensive approach to treating musculoskeletal conditions, combining clinical excellence with cutting-edge surgical techniques. Dr. Anish completed his MBBS from Terna Medical College & Hospital, Navi Mumbai, and pursued his Master of Surgery in Orthopedic Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Pune. His passion for advancing his expertise led him to undertake specialized fellowships in Joint Replacement Surgery and Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery under the mentorship of renowned surgeons. He completed a comprehensive one-year fellowship at KIMS Sunshine Hospital, Hyderabad which is recognized as the second largest joint replacement centre in Asia. At this premier robotic joint replacement centre, Dr. Anish gained extensive experience in robotic-assisted surgeries using the MAKO and VELYS robotic system and was exposed to high-volume joint replacement practices with over 4000+ surgeries performed annually at the institute. He further refined his skills with Fellowship in Robotic and Computer Navigation assisted Joint Replacements of the Knee and Hip at leading hospitals in Mumbai including Lilavati Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, and Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. His dedication to learning and innovation is further demonstrated through his selection for the prestigious Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society – J&J Medtech Travelling Fellowship, where he gained exposure to advanced techniques across multiple countries including Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia.

-Selected as one of only two candidates nationwide for the prestigious J&J MedTech Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society Travelling Fellowship. -Fellowship included academic visits to centers of excellence in Australia (Gold Coast, Sydney), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Indonesia (Jakarta, Surakarta) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City). - Participated as special guest speaker for Orthopaedic consultants, fellows and registrars in Napean Hospital, Sydney and "Indonesia Hip and Knee Scoiety". - Over 10 published articles and studies in scientific journals including Pubmed indexed journals.
