Dr. Pankaj Maheshwari and Team

Dr. Pankaj N Maheshwari is the head of department of urology at Fortis Hospital Mulund, Mumbai. He is a respected teacher and the Director for the DNB urology program training two Diplomate of National Board designated fellows each year. After his initial training in surgery at GMC Nagpur, and then Urology at Grant Medical College Mumbai, he acquired his training in laser prostate surgery with Dr Peter Gilling at New Zealand in 1999 as a SIU fellow. Dr Maheshwari is the pioneer in the use of holmium laser in India. He has recently been awarded Fellow of the Royal College of SurgeonsтАЩ from Glasgow (UK). Dr Maheshwari is considered a thorough academician and is the Editorial committee member of Indian Journal of Urology and on the review panel for more than 45 journals. He is also on the review panel for various prestigious conferences like USICON, AUA, SIU and WZ-USICON. He has served on the advisory board for establishing SAARC association of Urologic surgeons (SAUS) and now is the member of the scientiямБc committee of the SAUS. He has also been the National Delegate of World Endourology Society from 2003тАУ2005. He has been a visiting faculty and speaker at multiple institutions and meetings and respected teacher in urology.
