Dr. Rahul S. Kanaka

Dr. Rahul S. Kanaka is an accomplished Surgical Oncologist with over a decade of experience in the comprehensive management of cancer. He is highly skilled in advanced surgical techniques, including robotic and minimally invasive oncosurgery, and is known for his precision-driven, patient-centric approach. He completed his MBBS from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga (2004), followed by MS in General Surgery from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubli (2009). He pursued his MCh in Surgical Oncology from the prestigious Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai (2013). Further strengthening his expertise, he completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Oncosurgery (Laparoscopic & Robotic) from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad (2015). Dr. Kanaka specializes in the diagnosis and surgical management of a wide spectrum of cancers, with a strong focus on minimally invasive and robotic cancer surgery. He has presented and published on notable topics including Parotid Metastasis from Rectal Primary, Inflammatory Pseudotumor of Urinary Bladder, and Contralateral Adrenal Metastasis in RCC. He also participated in the educational series “The Right Dose,” discussing Breast Reconstruction: A Medical Marvel for Breast Cancer Survivors?
